very long executions for agent commands

Steps to Reproduce

  • open clean project folder
  • use in agent chat mode - agent+auto
  • write message : “check git status”

Expected Behavior

command (git status) execution took 40-46 seconds!

Auto, but i test also - gpt5, sonnet4, gemini25, grok4-code-fast-1, etc…

Could you try restarting Cursor and reporting back to us?

Of course, I restarted the cursor, I even rebooted my mac mini.
If you had written down where the debug logs are, I would have sent them long ago.
Due to the fact that this is a critical cursor ide problem, I made a decision and rolled back to version 1.5 - there are no such problems there.

omg, i use stable version in settings, and cursor just update to 1.6.23, bug is still here, how to work???

what logs i can send to dev-team for fix this bug ?

has the bug been fixed or not? I’m working on an older version of cursor, the error is not reproducible here.
