Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

When using Cursor Cloud Agents, it’s able to record walkthroughs and post them to Github. The Cloud Agents that are kicked off via a Cursor Automation do not seem to have this capability

Steps to Reproduce

Create an Automation that is instructed to fix a bug, and record a walkthrough. It’s unable to do so

Expected Behavior

I would expect that an Automation have the same Computer Use possible as the Cloud Agents.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

I’ll add - the Automation is leveraging the environment I created from cursor.com/onboard - so the environment has everything needed to run the code.

I’m able to work around this by providing the Automation with AWS credentials + agent-browser CLI (to at least offer screenshots) but it would be nice if this had parity with the regular Cloud Agents.

Computer Use isn’t currently available for Automations.

Have a look at this thread here:
