Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hi @shyyko.serhiy This is expected. When you run a web agent on Grok 4.6, that model can spin up subagents that use other model types to finish parts of the task. Those calls are billed against the matching spend pool, so the same task can show usage under both Cursor models and other models. It is not the same request being counted twice.

Let us know any follow-up questions!

This is quite unreasonable, I guess. The robot customer service acknowledged the problem but couldn’t get in touch with your human staff.

Feedback regarding Grok Bot usage and billing:

  1. Under “Included Usage,” grok-bot-default and grok-bot-automation appear beneath “Cursor Models,” suggesting they are consuming the monthly “Auto / Models” quota.

  2. Sam ([email protected] AI Support) has confirmed that Grok Bot has its own separate weekly quota; the monthly “Auto” quota should not be deducted if the weekly quota remains unused and “on-demand” usage is disabled. The current mixed display in the table is merely a presentation issue, though Sam stated that the usage line items cannot be reverted or re-categorized.

  3. Relevant forum posts have been withdrawn or unlisted, so the forum is not a viable channel for resolving this billing issue.

Request: Please display Grok Bot and Cursor Models usage separately in the UI; arrange for a manual billing review to determine if the monthly “Auto” quota was incorrectly deducted due to Grok Bot or automation activity; and restore or compensate for any erroneous deductions. This is an issue concerning the Grok Bot product and its billing.

Hi,
Can this be disabled somehow, to only use Grok with cloud agents? What happens if both the “Other Models” pool and the acount credit balance run out, but there is still “Cursor Models” pool available (and On-Demand Spending is disabled)? Would just stop working or resort to “Grok only”?
Thanks
