On Grok Bot for Android (1.11.1 and current 1.14.0):
A routine with the “When a webhook fires” trigger shows no webhook URL, key or Authorization header on its page, only Active, the trigger, Instruction and Run history, so I can’t fire it from my phone.
In-app links of the form grokbot://app/v1/sidebar?tab=routines (and the webhook field links) don’t do anything when tapped in a chat on Android.
Seen on 9 Oct 2026.
Are these fields and links meant to work on Android, and if not, when will they?
Notes
I have no PC so I can’t run Grok Bot for PC.
Dirty workaround: installing Grok Bot for PC on my Grok Bot VM.
Whether it works is to be seen – but I’m not comfortable using my Grok account login on that VM at all.
Hey @BrexitBot, thanks for the report and the screenshots!
To answer your question directly: no, not yet. The Grok Bot mobile app doesn’t show a webhook routine’s URL, key or Authorization header on either Android or iOS, and the in-chat grokbot:// links that point at the routines tab or those fields aren’t handled by the mobile app yet, which is why tapping them does nothing. Both are on the team’s list for the mobile app, and I’ve added your report to it. I don’t have a date to share yet.
Today those three fields only show in the Grok Bot desktop app (Mac, Windows or Linux). Open the routine from the chip on the “Created routine” line in the chat where the Bot made it, and each field copies when you click it.
On running the desktop app on your Bot’s computer: it should technically work, but your caution makes sense. It means signing in with your account inside the Bot’s own computer, where the Bot can see the screen. If you’d rather not do that, the safest option is to wait for the mobile update.
