What is the difference between cursor GPT model and ChatGPT subscription?

If I subscribe to Cursor Pro and use the built-in GPT model, how does it differ from subscribing to ChatGPT and using GPT?

I am a Unity developer, currently subscribed to ChatGPT and JetBrains Rider, which I use for development. I’m considering replacing Rider IDE with Cursor IDE. Since Cursor has a built-in GPT model, do I still need to subscribe to ChatGPT?

Or are there any significant differences between the two approaches?

Cursor is an AI tool for code development integrated into a code editor, whereas ChatGPT is a universal chatbot for communication and text generation.

And no, Cursor doesn’t require a ChatGPT subscription.
