What's the purpose of normal mode of composer

There are 2 modes under composer.
The agent mode is my favorite, and easy to understand.
But I am always confused why normal mode?
Or what’s the diff between normal mode and Chat?
Is there anyway to disable the normal mode, it seems useless.

chat can use tall or small model can not edit multiple files at once
composer can edit multiple files at once only supports high model

is there any way to allow the user to disable the normal mode, chat ?
I haven’t used them for a long time, and I am always afraid I choose the wrong “normal” mode, to waste one question quota…

That is the default feature of Cursor that cannot be turned off currently.

Hey, Composer remembers your last mode selection, so as long as you don’t accidentally change it, everything should be fine for new sessions.
