Describe the Bug

When you drag and drop files to the chat, they are doubled.

Steps to Reproduce

When you drag and drop files to the chat cursor, each file reference appears twice in the chat window.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Does it happen with every file for you? I managed to reproduce this once, but any file added after (even if I empty the context after) doesn’t do it!!

It’s not happening every time, but quite often. I think it occurs more frequently when I drag files from the tabs, though it also happens when dragging from the Explorer. So far, I haven’t noticed any clear pattern for when it occurs.

It happens the same way in new chats as well as in long conversations.

I’m using macOS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79), macbook pro 2019 i9

Hi,

I installed a new version yesterday, and it seemed like the bug was fixed. However, today, with the new version, the bug has returned.

Now it’s even worse - every drag n drop makes a double reference…

Unfortunately, I don’t remember which version I had yesterday.
