Which model is used for suggestions/autocompletion?

Hi there,

I have a pro subscription and I have the model set up with Claude 3.5 Soonet via Cursor config.

My question is, which model does Cursor use for autocompletions?

Can I customise that? as in using Claude 3.5 Soonet for chat and codeqwen for code completions?

Hi, for chat and composer, you can choose any model from the list, but for autocompletion, you cannot. It’s their custom model that they developed. For more details, read here: Cursor - Build Software Faster
