I tried adding the claude-opus-4-5 model to Cursor through the Azure API, but Cursor still doesn’t recognize it.
Even though Opus 4.5 is already available on Azure, it seems Cursor can’t load or use the model yet.
Is this a Cursor limitation, or does Azure require a specific configuration for this model?
Has anyone here successfully added claude-opus-4-5 to Cursor?
Just want to confirm whether it’s a global issue or I missed something in the setup.
Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known limitation with Azure Anthropic models (including claude-opus-4-5).
Cursor’s Azure integration currently only supports the Azure OpenAI API format, but Anthropic models in Azure AI Foundry use a different API format. This affects all Anthropic Claude models on Azure, not just Opus 4.5.
