Hey there, @keewinek
In your Cursor, how is Agents > Auto-run > Auto-Run Mode configured? If it’s set to “Ask every time”, that’s likely the cause.
If it’s not set that way – could you share a screenshot of the Agent asking you to accept changes on each file edit? A Request ID would be helpful as well.
Hope we can get this sorted!
Did you know that you could have asked in a nicer way?
Changing that option does nothing by the way, several chats later even though off, you will get the same issue again.

Thanks all.
A Request ID would really help with the investigation, if you have a chat where you face this!

Same for me, also on WSL2. This started sometime in the past week for me. Unfortunately the agent experience becomes quite unusable.
I have same problem, the setting Auto-run in Agent Mode not working.
I have the same issue.
This only started today when I used cursor for the first time in a few days. I’m also on windows, developing a project in WSL2. Definitely have “run everything” selected in the agent setup.
Asks for “accept” every file edit.

I have the same problem, and I’m also working in WSL2.

I’m encountering the same issue on Windows — every file edit in the chat prompts me to accept the changes. Even after that, I still need to accept or decline the changes to the files once the chat is finished.
It’s a bug. In another ticket the solution was basically to rollback the update? I’ve just been clicking accept, but I agree it’s a nuisance at the very least. Hopefully they have this resolved soon.

Hey team,
My understanding is that this should be fixed now. Can you test it?
