I usually have like 10+ projects open. But its quite hard to quickly switch between them, because the ‘Window’ tab show just plain names, and also the last opened file. So it takes me 4-5seconds each time I have to read the whole list of of projects which are also constantly changing due to tab switches within a project.
I would suggest that the Window list of project always has [project name] - [current file opened] structure. Where each project name has a distinctive and constant color, so you can very quickly switch between projects. Like Android Studio / IntelliJ also recently included a subtle gradient in the icon color of the app at top left navigation bar, so you always see in 1 glance which project you are in.
