Bug description: Cannot paste more than one image using Ctrl+V in agent mode chat. After pasting the first image successfully, subsequent Ctrl+V paste attempts fail. Must use file explorer button instead. This issue did not occur in previous versions of Cursor.
Steps to reproduce:
Open a new chat in agent mode on Cursor
Copy an image to clipboard
Press Ctrl+V to paste the first image (works correctly)
Copy a second image to clipboard
Press Ctrl+V to paste (fails)
System info: Windows 11, Cursor version 0.46.8
Impact: The issue prevents efficient workflow when trying to paste multiple images in succession, forcing me to manually rollback to a previous version of Cursor to maintain productivity.
(Basically it was noticed that certain version threshold eliminated multi image describe/upload ā I showed that the version I had did up to the 4 that I tested with, see thread.
We need to be able to run multiple cusor ides sideby side. I have two identical machines - I already had Curssor Agent doing Windows Sys Ad stuff on my home lan⦠talking to and manipulating my other machine) - but I digress)
(anyway - run multi versions for the un-broken featurelist of your choice (we should mae each version an MCP we can route the call to)
there was a problem with multi-image on the latest version.
see my post here about why 45.14 is the best current version:
I use my screenshot tool to select an image, then hit ctrl + c to copy it to my clipboard and ctrl + v to paste it. This is the fastest and most intuitive workflow for me when pasting screenshots in any program, which is why this regression is particularly frustrating.
Being limited to drag & drop or file explorer for subsequent images significantly slows down my workflow.
Got the same problem for a few days already, 1 image works, but a secon dimage i got to use the file explorer, which is ⦠manageable. But it would be nice to be able to paste 2 images with Copy paste again
