triggering workbench.action.openSettings from marketplace extension causing crash on version 2.5

Had to downgrade to version 2.4

Steps to Reproduce

Trigger any configure button that should open vscode settings from extensions from the marketplace. workbench.action.openSettings

Hey, thanks for the report. I couldn’t reproduce this on my end.

Can you help narrow it down?

1. Which exact extension triggers it? (name or Marketplace link)
2. Exact version: Cursor > About, include the full build number
3. Does it happen every time or only sometimes?
4. Does the Cmd + , shortcut also get stuck by itself (without any extension involved)?

If you can, please also grab the crash logs: Cmd + Shift + P > Open Logs Folder. Any entry around the time it freezes would be helpful.
