The IDE defaults to agent mode. This is fine for small, incremental changes. Sometimes, I want to do longer term planning. Too often I find that somehow I ended up in agent mode and the agent is off and running before I am ready. I think the following workflow is really useful (especially with AI): create a plan, analyze plan, execute plan incrementally. I think does a great job with Plan mode but prioritized agent mode. It would be great if I could have the agent execute the plan but stop and confirm that everything compiles, tests pass and I am happy before moving on.
