Wrong command to close chat

Hi! If I have an active chat I can press CMD+Y to continue on that chat. But if I want to close the chat to have more space of my code the suggestion says to press CMD+L to close the chat but that is creating an empty chat and then im able to close it. I don’t want to create a new chat to be able to hide the active chat that I’m having

Hi @andyf

Press Cmd + Alt + B.

Great, thank you! The suggestion says CMD+L to close it

The suggestion says CMD+L to close it

This seems to have been removed in a recent update I think? Is there a new way to close the side bar via hotkeys?

Even the close button of the cursor side bar has been removed

Hey, it’s working for me. What version do you have?

Version: 0.45.6
VSCode Version: 1.96.2

The close button (X) is gone from the top menu of the chat sidebar (also not hidden behind the “…” dropdown)

I think I understand the issue. Did you hide the icons from the activity bar? What happens if you bring them back?

I’m not sure whether I did hide the icons there, at least didn’t do it knowingly

For me the close button only disappeared recently (couple of days ago) after updating Cursor
