Relax, I think this is the agony of the cursor and the project is hopeless, since the providers directly decided to make their agents (Claude Code, for example) and soon we will see their plugins or their own IDEs. And Cursor is just a middleman. At the first stage, it was nice to work in it, but now it is completely impossible with their new pricing model. And they have nowhere to go, since they are middlemen, they make a 20% markup, but apparently they wanted to earn even more by making completely opaque usage statistics, hidden prompts to increase the write-off of money, etc. Cursor will die if someone does not buy it. But the thing is - what is there to buy? A plugin for VS-Code? It is easier to just lure away key developers if they have value. And Cursor investors will probably lose their investments. A dead-end scheme, because Anthropic, Open AI, Google have already decided that they do not need middlemen.
