Git base extension is disabled after updating to 0.39.4. All other versions of 0.39 are fine.
Cannot activate the 'GitHub' extension because it depends on the 'Git Base' extension which is disabled.
It would be nice to be able to roll back after a broken update. Currently SoL

@amanrs can i get a link to an older build. this is killing my productivity for my job
I found a link to 0.38.1 in the forum and have confirmed that the issue is from 0.39.4 but it would be cool to get the link to 0.39 < .4
For anyone with the same problem here is the link for 0.39.3

(adjust the url for your os/arch)

Yup, broken here as well. Says no source control provider registered.
Can you confirm that the Git and Git Base extensions are enabled? You can check by typing @builtin in the extensions search and scrolling to those two extensions

All git based servic… es are broken for remote ssh sessions.
```
Cannot activate the 'GitHub' extension because it depends on the 'Git Base' extension which is disabled.
```
2) Please include the name of your operating system
Mac OSX (Client side) -> Ubuntu 20.04 (Server side)
3) If you can, steps to reproduce are super helpful
Not sure, prior versions of 0.39 worked fine so I assume use a mac to create a remote ssh session to a ubuntu system on 0.39.4
It would be cool to be able to roll back an update. Kinda sucks updating and being stuck
Check the Github issues everyone - deleting your .cursor-server
folder and reinstantiating the remote-ssh tunnel should do the trick.
