Hi @autel-zhouyao – looks like the download failed. Do you have to use a proxy on your remote system? If so this can be configured in the Remote SSH extension settings.
Hi, no, I have a remote system without a network, and I figured out the problem was a Wget failure on it. I solved it by downgrading the cursor to 0.48.0 and using Remote SSH from Microsoft, which downloads the server locally and SSHs it to the remote. Do you guys have any plans to fit the new version of Remote SSH for remote systems without networks? Or give some instructions on how to install Curosr server manually?
Hi @autel-zhouyao, we currently do not support SSH’ing into remote systems without external internet access. Cursor’s AI features would require external internet access to properly function. In this case, I’d recommend continuing to use the VSCode remote SSH plugin, which does support copying over the server from the local to remote machine.
Hi @autel-zhouyao, we just released version 1.0.8 of the Anysphere Remote SSH extension which supports SSH’ing into remote systems that lack external internet access. It will attempt to download the server locally and SCP the server to the remote. Could you try upgrading and let us know whether it works? Thanks!
