I still have 0.45.14 installed and am using Claude 3.5 because of bad experiences with the most up to date versions.
Are there any pros to updating to 0.45.17?
Have any of you tested these Cursor version with 3.7?

3.7 has issues before Cursor 0.47 as Cursor IDE had to be adjusted to the requirements and handling of 3.7.
Havent looked back at 0.45 for a long time due to better handling in 0.46 and now in beta 0.47. Sure some people have issues with any version, that depends on so many details:
- context length (prompt/rules/code/tools/…)
- new vs long chat
- OS and installation details
- amount of chats
- extensions installed
- how you prompt and what you do
- the actual codebase has huge impact (higher quality code gives way less issues, too long files make things tricky)
- …
So it realy depends what you are doing with it.
