any 0.45.x would work probably better than the latest 0.46.x or 0.47.x versions at this point. I experienced that the outputs on 0.45.x is looking pretty solid on my side.

Yes i went back to my, can’t call it trusty. version 0.45.11 i found this was the best version for me. And it also works with all the AI;s including Claude 3.7 although i don’t see what the appeal is for this AI. its dreadful. Please enlighten me someone. I prefer to stick with GPT and the newer more recently added, deepseek

No one can lure me away from my safe space in 0.45.17

Cant see the poll but im sure the forum has that feature. Using 0.47.5 and its great.

For some reason, i went back to my older version and the composer vanished. i cant find it anywhere. any ideas. Is there a place to enable this. meanwhile i will try uninstalling the older version and try the new version with a fresh install. oh, here is the location for downloads. GitHub - oslook/cursor-ai-downloads: All Cursor AI's official download links for both the latest and older versions, making it easy for you to update, downgrade, and choose any version. 🚀

why not use the offical website which has all main versions in the “All Downloads” link from homepage?

Cheers, I will do. thanks for the tip. Just to add. OMG, i just did a complete reinstall of the new cursor and it fixed my problems, just like that and ran so smooth, no crashes or anything. I think there was a conflict with the older version and the upgrade. I’m not getting my hopes up just jet, but if this is what it was supposed to do, then wow. it not laggy when under load and crashes like before, when the CPU is working harder, its still running smooth. makes the few errors but so much better.

likely an issue with amount of chats in the history, others reported that ‘renaming’ the project which creates a fresh chat history helped.

Ah yes now i have been working for a while. Its slowing again. needs better automated method of removing older chats past a certain time or size. i got my first crash again.
