It does and i was able to get back to convo and reprompt it. Would be nice to have an X to close that message tho
Do you mean closing the error message? You can start a new chat using the shortcut Ctrl + N, or open the chat tab with Ctrl + T.
i am having this same issue, and starting a new chat hasn’t solved it for me.

it is inexplicable as my internet is working with everything else fine. i can use claude 3.7 and gemini 2.5 in my browser. i’ve even restarted cursor, and my router, and nothing seems to dislodge this bug.
i have just paid for pro for the first time, and i really feel like i’m wasting a whole day of it as a result to this bug - when i otherwise could have been getting a lot done. not super happy about that, it has to be said.
