1.6: @ mentioning files doesnt get the path

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Mentioning @global.mdc in a chat shows the correct path in the pop up, but the model cannot find it.

Steps to Reproduce

@ mention the file, see the path the model tries to read is incorrect (but correct on the pop up to select it)

MacOS

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. I can’t repro this. Could you describe the steps in more detail or record a short video?

I literally just reference the @ file in the chat. “Please read @global.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdcglobal.mdc”. Anything else I can provide to help debug?

Could it be related to my repo’s again being subdirectories off of the project root and not 1:1 with project root?
