So many times I’ve been working fast and, as I’m darting about at light speed with Vim keys, Cursor offers an unexpectedly good suggestion and I think “I’ll take it”.
Milliseconds later, it’s gone. Can’t ever get the same one back.
Which is stupid, as anything the editor receives it can save, and it shouldn’t bear pointing out that the order of the size in memory of a suggestion is, most often, bytes rather than kilobytes. No reason at all to have a useful suggestion disappear irretrievably like that.
Several attempts to search for a solution have shown I’m not the only one struggling with this issue.
Cursor is the one AI app that set out to do user experience well. Moreover, the Tab feature is the highlight for myself and many other users. So I’d suggest that, for the Cursor devs, paying attention to small annoyances and UX frustrations like this is in line with the app’s ethos, and immeasurably worth their time!
Please make it happen!
