Hey, thanks for the feature request. Layout flexibility, including being able to drag the Agents panel like a regular dockable tab next to Terminal and Output, is a known feedback area. It’s being actively discussed here: Cursor 3: Agents Window and in a few related threads. I can’t share an ETA for this specific behavior, but the team is aware of the direction.
If you want to help boost the signal, please leave a vote or comment in the thread above. That’s where most layout feedback is being collected. And if you have a specific workflow in mind, like “I want to see Agents plus Terminal plus Output at the same time in the bottom panel”, please describe it. Details like that really help with prioritization.
