Access to Microsoft Products in Grok Bot

Hi,

Grok on Web can access Microsoft products, like Outlook and Teams, but it can’t in Grok Bot. I have a workflow that requires access to those.

Will cloud agent access to MCPs be added to Grok Bot?

Thanks!

Hi @ArtSabintsev Thank you for the post and thank you for being a Grok Bot launch day user!

Grok Bot does support connectors and MCP today. They’re under Settings → Plugins in the app, and once you add one you can attach it to a task by typing @ in chat.

However, there is currently no Microsoft one specifically. There’s no Outlook, Teams, or Microsoft 365 connector in the catalog right now, so there’s nothing to install for those. That’s the gap you’re hitting rather than a general lack of MCP support in Grok Bot.

For your workflow in the meantime, the supported path is computer use. Ask your Bot to open Outlook or Teams on the web in its own browser and sign in there. You’ll need to take over the computer to complete the login and any 2FA yourself, but the session persists afterward, so your Bots can keep working in both without you signing in again each time. Use the computer and apps walkthrough to see how that works, including handing the computer back and forth.

Thanks for the quick reply, Kevin!

I already use Claude’s Microsoft 365 connector for Outlook in my workflow, and I’m looking for the same in Grok Bot. Sounds like the gap is just no Microsoft connector in the catalog yet, not MCP support itself.

Is first-party Outlook / Microsoft 365 for Grok Bot on the roadmap?

Unfortunately, due to security policies, whenever I use Computer Use with Outlook on the web, I get logged out of my local instance of Microsoft products, so it’s a non-starter for me.

Hi @ArtSabintsev, we’re aware of the ask and it is in consideration. Will keep you updated!

The way I’m getting around this for now now is by having a Grok Bot agent login into grok.com which already has these services connected, and then piping my commands to Outlook/Teams (etc.) there.

It works for me, but only because I pay for SuperGrok.

that is actually quite genius, im glad grok found this thread for me :joy: . will do the same

Amazing, glad it worked! Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to connect to onedrive yet on an xAI-powered solution.

I am having Grok Bot call into my Claude (Yolo) mode solution on my home computer.

I basically have to keep my computer on at home to get the Grok and Claude connectors working that Grok bot doesn’t have.

It’s fine for now - Grok Bot is amazing and worth this tiny bit of trouble.

@kevinn - if your team can prioritize the Microsoft suite of products at some point, I’d be very grateful!
