This model is incredibly fast. Often, there’s a need to do something very, very quickly where quality isn’t as important. I think a model like that would be excellent for interacting with the terminal and for line-by-line code editing. Honestly, I’m surprised it hasn’t been added yet, considering how quickly new models used to appear in Cursor. I’m really looking forward to it and hoping it gets added soon.

Unfortunately, the name gemini-2.5-flash-lite-preview-06-17 is no longer valid, as the model has been finally released. It is now called gemini-2.5-flash-lite, but does not work in Cursor. Please fix it.

Have you compared it with Grok Coder Fast?
It is good for simple tasks like do a commit or summarize our chat. Super fast speed and very cheap.
But it does not work in Cursor anymore…
