Hello!
When trying to add selected text to chat it does not seem to work. The most frustrating thing about this issue is it is intermittent. It will work for a bit then suddenly stop with no changes to the host Mac.

List of troubleshooting steps taken
- Uninstalled Cursor
- Removed App user data
~/Library/Application Support/Cursor - Removed user cursor config
rm -rf ~/.cursor* - Rebooted
- Reinstalled using the Cursor installer and again using
brew install --cask cursor - No VPN or Zscaler
- Quit as many background apps as possible to avoid conflicts
- signed out of Pro account and back in
Steps to reproduce:
- Opened using
cursor --disable-extensions - Paste in some text. logs, instructions, file etc
- CMD + A to select all then Add to Chat using default keyboard shortcut Shift + CMD + L
- Chat sidebar pops up, but no text context shows.
- Without adding additional context, pressing
Enterbegins the AI query. It can read whatever was pasted but shows no evidence that it had context.
