You will need to roll back to v1.2 via Downloads | Cursor - The AI Code Editor to get the official release.
Unfortunately, I believe any checkpoints made on v1.3.x will not restore back on either version.

I tried and it’s impossible.
The problem was resolved independently, and it turned out to be quite difficult. I recommend using a program called Disk Drill, as it helps recover lost files. Finding missing files can be challenging, but with this tool, there’s hope.
The need for recovery arose after an unsuccessful update — from version 1.2.4 to 1.3.0 — which caused everything to break: the encoding was corrupted, and several files disappeared. As a result, I had to recover the files manually using Disk Drill.
Some users might encounter similar situations, so I strongly recommend using Disk Drill. It’s a free program that can really help.
Dear Cursor team, I advise you to test your programs thoroughly — many times — before releasing a new version, in order to avoid problems in the future.
@Kiziev thank you for the feedback and we missed this despite testing. Sincere apologies for the issue!
I’m glad you were able to recover the files.
