Feature request for product/service
Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Linear,…)
Describe the request
A tagging or labeling option for agent chats.
As a user, I:
- set up different agents, some with third parties, some just within the IDE for different tasks.
- Organizing them is not only important for the current workflow, (I can reasonably work with two to five agents at a time) and so it’s really important for me to know the status or purpose of different agent chats for when I return to work. I spend too much time assessing whether I effectively can close the loop on an existing chat.
- The more advanced functionality of this would be to have it automated. So if there’s something simple, for example, like active, inactive, complete, something like that you would find in a normal status label, even that would be helpful.
Main pain point: when I look at my agent chat and I see 10 different chats, I want to know which ones are important, which ones are optional, which ones are next, which ones have been dealt with, etc.
Right now I’m trying to manually do this with the naming of agents. But if there is just some type of status label. Even that would be helpful.
Right now I’m trying to manually do this with the naming of agents. If there is just some type of tag or, you know, little dropdown button that would help me organize, it would make getting into the flow next time I start coding a lot easier.
