Agent is not applying changes. edit_file tool error

Steps to reproduce: Select Agent and “Auto”(I have also tried with Claude Sonnect 3.5, 3.7, GPT 4.5 Preview with the same results) select setting for model selection. I supply the agent with about 20 lines of build errors and a lanuage file (attached). It seems to have lost the ability to actually change and update files. During the attempts the wrong lines of the file Errors is gives in sequence:
