Agent stops scrolling chat buffer automatically after terminal or code boxes appear in chat

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor CLI

Describe the Bug

I noticed I have to continually manually scroll down chat buffers when the agent is working. It looks like the autoscroll breaks when chat gets a terminal or code block widget that goes below the bottom of the visible chat area.

My guess is that the buffer needs to be scrolled when these widgets appear in chat, so that the chat is at the bottom and it continues to autoscroll

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run an agent to do coding tasks
  2. BUG - You have to occasionally scroll the chat window down manually to follow what the agent is doing.

Expected Behavior

The chat window should automatically display new chat content as it appears when the buffer is scrolled to the bottom.
