Whenever an agent is trying to ask a question using the UI it fails. Often skipping the question and making assumptions, just flatly asking inline or requiring me to respond like “1A 2B” in text format.

Describe the Bug
Agents are unable to use the Ask tool to present questions with suggested answers to me. Often reporting it missing.
Steps to Reproduce
Prompt an agent that would result in it requiring further information.
Observe it failing to produce the ask ui and commenting on it.
Expected Behavior
When the agent has a question for me I expect it to show the dialog with the question, and answers for me to click or fill in my own.

are you using grok? i had the same problem
Hi @Calvin_Ng Thanks for the post! This is expected with Grok 4.5 right now. @alirng1
The structured question picker (AskQuestion) is intentionally not available for Grok 4.5, including in Plan mode. When it needs clarification, it asks inline in the chat instead.
If you want the multiple-choice question UI, switch to Composer 2.5 (or another model that still has that tool). Plan mode itself is fine; this is specific to Grok 4.5. AskQuestion may be added back in future models - we’ll let you k…
