Describe the Bug
- Assistant repeatedly violated specific custom rules about RSpec testing philosophy
- Rules were clearly provided in cursor-rules and memories
- Assistant acknowledged the rules but continued writing mocked tests
- This happened multiple times despite corrections
- Assistant seems to fall back to “typical” patterns instead of following custom instructions
Assistant repeatedly violated the provided clear testing philosophy rules
Steps to Reproduce
provide custom rule to not mock objects excessively in Ruby Rspec tests
(a fully stubbed-out test does not test anything)
Expected Behavior
Assistant should consistently follow custom rules provided in workspace
Operating System
MacOS
