not sure, i was working on one long chat as the AI advise me for better understanding of my project. when i opened a new chat it was working fine
Hey, would you be able to get a Request ID for us for when this happens?
We’ve had a few reports of this, but are struggling to reproduce it ourselves!
To get the request ID, you’ll have to have privacy mode turned off before the request you want to report occured.
Then, run the Developer: Report AI Action command, find the Ai interaction on the list, copy and send the Request ID, so we can take a look at it!

It usually happens when the chat is long, the chat was about 3 days of work. the AI was confused and gave me wrong solution’s (even due we worked on something similar before). when i saw it was lost, i wanted to give him the files. I will keep you in mine and if it will happen I will send you the report.
I think you guys need to create a file like .cursor that we can update when the AI learn about the project and when its start he will look into that file again, to see structure and important info that will help the AI understand what the project is about
I’ve been having infuriating issues with this behavior, a warning may come handy, I wasted my calls on this stupid bug. Not only it does not see the files, the option to add new ones fails too, sometimes it gets one old file and ends up messing up other modules. A total waste of api calls.
PLEASE, give us a warning we are reaching whatever limits you’ve got, we need to understand when the Cursor interface is NOT working for the LLM
