AI chat editor not allowing me to control the cursor position

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

If I type a prompt into the AI chat window and then realize I want to edit some text in the middle of the prompt, I can move the cursor to the middle and start typing, but after I type a single character the cursor jumps back to the end of the text after each character which is really frustrating. I basically can’t edit in the middle of the prompt. I have to cut all the text after where I want to edit, make the edit, and then paste the rest of the text back in.

Steps to Reproduce

Happens on my version just whenever I try to edit in the middle of the chat.

Expected Behavior

I should have full control over the cursor and it should only move when I move it

Operating System

MacOS
