AI chat panel can be easily closed completely

Describe the Bug

The AI chat panel can be easily closed completely and can only revive by restarting Cursor.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open an arbitrary chat as editor.
  2. Directly close it in the editor area.
  3. No way to reopen any AI chat panel.

Expected Behavior

Toggle AI panel (Ctrl + Alt + B) button should easily revive the panel.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, it seems this happens because you opened the chat as an editor, so the chat no longer exists in the sidebar. You can bring up the chat window again by pressing Ctrl + I, which will open the chat in a tab.
