Closing chat panel on click

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

Recenlty, when the AI chat panel is open and I click on any part of the panel, it closes the panel.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Steps to Reproduce

Ask the again to do something, click on the panel

Thanks for the report. This is an unusual issue I haven’t seen in 2.0.38.

To help investigate, please share:

• Where exactly you’re clicking? (any part of the panel, or specific areas like the input box, response text, buttons?)
• Does it happen when opening chat via keyboard shortcuts Cmd+L or Cmd+I?
• Do you have any extensions installed? Try running Cursor with extensions disabled: cursor --disable-extensions (from Terminal)
• A screen recording if possible, this would really help us understand the behavior

Could you update to the latest version and let me know if the issue still persists?
