I’ve been experimenting with Cursor for development and Gluestack UI for frontend work. What surprised me is that AI can generate components quickly, but having a consistent design system still saves a huge amount of cleanup and refactoring later.
The bottleneck isn’t generating code anymore.
It’s generating code that fits into a maintainable product.
Curious how other Cursor users are approaching this.
Are you letting AI generate most of your UI, or are you still relying on component libraries and design systems as guardrails?
