  1. Alternative: test with a different project:
  • Open a different folder/project in Cursor
  • Try the AI there to see if the issue is specific to one project
  1. Network diagnostics:
  • Cursor Settings → Network → “Run Diagnostics”
  • Please share the results if any errors appear
  1. Check firewall/antivirus:
  • Temporarily disable Windows Defender or your antivirus software
  • Check if Cursor works while the protection is disabled
  1. Create a new Agent session:
  • Start a new Agent chat (sometimes errors get stuck in a single session)
