All new models, like Claude 4, Thining Max etc are missing from my cursor

Describe the Bug

I recently installed Cursor from the website, and noted that only sonnet 3.5 max was available, even after signing in, I can only see claude 3.5, claude 4 is not on the list

Hey, is any of your API keys enabled? If not, you can try adding the models manually. Or you can try reinstalling Cursor. Also, here’s a list of all available models:

None of the API keys are enabled, I have reinstalled Cursor 3 times, with a restart in between each uninstall, but as soon as i open cursor again and sign in, Claude 4 is missing

Im starting to think its a cache issue, i.e. even when i uninstall some data is left behind somewhere, so when i reinstall it just pulls that information rather than creating new ones

Do you know where cursor stores its cached data in macos?

You need to completely remove Cursor. Here’s a guide:

Cool this did it, Delete $HOME/Library/Application Support/Code and ~/.vscode.

Installing after that, I was able to go through auth again and all the latest models are now present, thank you :blush: :heart:
