Allow Custom User Options in Plan Mode: Follow-Up Questions

I’d like to suggest an improvement to Plan Mode, specifically around how the agent asks follow-up questions.

Currently, when a task is ambiguous or there are multiple valid approaches, the agent asks clarifying questions and usually presents 2–4 predefined options to choose from. This is generally helpful, but there are cases where the option the user wants isn’t included in the list.

Feature request:
In addition to selecting from the listed options, users should be able to provide a custom option (i.e., “Other: ”) when answering follow-up questions in Plan Mode.

Also, would be great to add comments on specific points in plan.md like you can do on Antigravity

Good afternoon, and thank you for taking the time to respond.

Personally, I’ve often found myself wishing for the ability to leave inline comments directly within the plan and then ask the AI to update it accordingly. This would be significantly faster and more convenient than having to describe all the desired changes separately in a follow-up message. I believe this kind of workflow would make iterating on plans much smoother and more intuitive.
