WHen I am building a complex feature or product, many times there are dozens of chats. After a while if I want to recall something which I implemented in a particular way and faced some challenges, it is not possible to recall that unless I remember and go back to that chat and already know much what it was.
It would be great if previous chats in cursor were smart-searchable and I could ask something like “Remember there was a problem with accessing this endpoint, can you point out where it was and how we had resolved it. I am hitting this again in another feature and want to use the same approach to solve it”. It might need long term memory, but the conversation history is already there. So shouldn’t be unsolvable.
If there is already a way to achieve this, please let me know.
