I was surprised to learn that there is no direct way to Search through past conversations in Cursor AI Chat window. This is a basic feature that is available in ChatGPT for example and is highly needed.
Hey, you can click on the chat history button, and a search through past chats will appear in the window.
Thanks for that. I brought up the Chat History window and tried searching for some text but it only searches for the title of the chat rather than its contents. Can you please provide an example by first asking something that will generate a response and then search for a specific word within the response?

Yeah, we could really do with this. Very surprised we can’t do basic text search through our history. Often I’ll start chats but move onto other topics or get sidetracked with minor tweaks and features so my context gets totally lost with relation to the original title, making it impossible to find again
