Yep, that glitch was just fixed today. Now I’m facing the same rate limit as you. I’ve switched back to the old pricing model

so what currently works better or is it fixed to work the same in terms of rate limits? im with new plan and keep hitting rate limits after 2-3 simple requested with claude 4 sonnet.

This rate limiting thing is popping a nerve in my forehead I never knew I had. We were better off with 500 requests per month, atleast we knew where we stood

I guess it depends on your use but, atleast for me, once I hit the rate limits it was better for me to change to the old system.
You can change back at any time.

In my case, the old pricing model is more friendly. In the new pricing mode, as I am sticking wih claude 4, soon I exceeded the model usage limitation and received a 20 dollar extra bill. but after switch to old pricing mode, I could continue to use claude 4 without extra charge as it counts to the overall 500 request limitation.

thanks I only use claude 4 as well (try to avoid thinking mode when possible) - ill try old pricing mode.

Before I saw at least that I have 500 pseudo requests.
Now I’m unpredictable paying or not and the amount per request is not predictable at all also!!!

Should I return back to more predictable paying plan?

I see in the docs there is a Pro+ plan for $60 but I can’t upgrade my plan. Is this new and still coming or is the docs outdated?

I mean, I spent around $300 dollar on pay as you go before mid of jun beside $20 dollar subscription on Pro, after I used my limits, then after that something changed and I noticed I could use more max models, then again something changed that I spent my limits, and I from 20$ subscription upgraded on $60 dollar for Pro plus, after few days, again I got message in the cursor program i used 90% of my limits and asked to switch on pay as you go to keep work uninterrupted.

I mean… comeon.. .no transparency at all, I was searching site and program, nowhere to be found my usage nothing, nor history.. so low transparency that becomes truly annoying. DO I REALLY NEED TO SPEND 2-300 USD on pay as you go to be able to use max option of Claude 4 sonnet thinking??? What is the purpose of my subscription, that after just few days… it is usless!
