Any one found a work around for tasks stopping/freezing is there a prompt we can run to make the agent not time out and carry on like press enter its self and not wait for a response?

claude sonnit 4 its running stuff then waits ages for responses from servers etc but then just times out and stops doing the tasks its mean to do and the only way to get stuff to run is to sit ther and click enter when you think its doing it and it hard to tell if its computing in the backgraound or just stopped . if you rin some thing go off of a coffe come back and its stoped its f anoying and waist too muck time

Does creating a new chat resolve the issue? Could you share the request ID? First, you’ll need to disable privacy mode.

no happens in any chat i create may people are having this issue

Which version of Cursor are you using? Could you also run a network diagnostic?

Are you using any MCP servers? Try disabling them all and check if that resolves the issue.

you mean github thats the only thing on there and cursor needs that to save to

Disabling the MCP server didn’t resolve the issue? Does this happen with other models? Also, just to clarify, you’re not using your own API keys?
