Apply Not Working(Editor just quick flash and nothing added)

Bug Description:
I’m using cursor for local projects. The apply in AI chat is not working for me.

  1. I created a new file named hello.py
  2. in chat, I ask the claude-4-sonnet model to give me a piece of code of hello world, ai response a code for me.
  3. I’m using Manual mode, in the code area, I clicked apply.
  4. the code editor area just a quick flash and no change happened.
  5. In the chat area, it shows stopped(1 file changed) hello.py 1/1 × Cancelled

I tried to click reaplly above multiple times, the code editor just quick flash and nothing changed. No code added in the editor.
