Cursor chat not showing 'apply' option

When I ask Cursor to make changes in ‘ask’ mode (claude-3.5 sonnet) it gives the code solutions, but the code solutions box doesn’t show ‘apply’ sometimes, only ‘copy’

This makes it hard because we still have to manually make each of the edits suggested, defeating the purpose of using Cursor.

To reproduce, use ‘ask’ mode and see that sometimes no ‘apply’ appears in code solutions suggested by Cursor.

Hey, can you let me know if you have a Pro subscription? Also, how often does this happen? Have you tried creating a new chat to see if it reproduces the issue?

It happens all the time, on and off, for about 50% of the chats. I have a Pro subscription. It’s a waste of time and money to have to re-run the same prompt in a new chat and hope for the ‘apply’ button to appear.

For anyone facing the same issue, a solution is to ask in the chat: “give me code I can APPLY”, that triggers the chat most of the time to respond with code blocks that have the ‘apply’ button in it.
