Are MCP tools working in 1.4.2?

Describe the Bug

MCP tools are installed correctly and running, but cursor cannot access any of them when asked in chat. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Steps to Reproduce

  • installed Figma MCP by adding the server url to the mcp.json file
  • “enable Dev mode MCP server” in the figma preferences
  • copy and provide the link of a design element in the chat with the request to use the MCP server
  • no MCP server found

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.4.2 (user setup)
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

hi @Benjamin there is an issue with Figma MCP, we are looking into it but it may need also external adjustments.
