Atlassian MCP and Token Expiration

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Hello,

I am currently using Atlassian MCP configured via - Setting up IDEs (desktop clients) | Atlassian Rovo MCP Server Cloud | Atlassian Support

The token is alive for a day or so, apparently, then I have to delete and re-create MCP server. Trying to use LLM with the server when the token is expired will just report “refresh token is expired” and that would be it.

Is there a solution for this in current Cursor version?

Steps to Reproduce

Expected Behavior

  • After token expires MCP tool call should open up re-auth browser window automatically

Operating System

MacOS
