Automatic, unwanted scrolling when inserting newline character

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Adding a newline in the chat box automatically scrolls to the bottom of the AI message.
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature but I haven’t sent anything yet and Cursor automatically scrolls to the bottom of the AI agent’s message because I’ve added a newline char.

My personal workflow is that I am going through its long messages and I write a bunch of questions as I read through its messages. Right now, I need to scroll up every time I add a new question. Please let me know if this is a bug or something you willingly introduced.

Steps to Reproduce

Get a long response from the AI agent.
Scroll to the middle of the message, make sure there is space to scroll down to.
Start writing anything and then add a newline char. The AI message will be scrolled to its bottom right away.

Expected Behavior

No automatic scrolling is needed unless I actually sent a new message.

Operating System

MacOS
